Wow, can’t beleive it is almost a week without a post from me. It was a busy week as it was the final week of school here, we had a high school graduation and compnay arrived from out west. Menu planning got thrown out the window.
Now that can’t last forever and we have to get back to reality.
With summer here we try and be frugal and I shop bulk. Ie 12 boxes of KD when on sale, coupon clipping, and always on the eye out for a good bargain. The reason for the frugality we want to have some summer fun!
Monday- Lentil and Brown Rice Casserole, side salad
Tuesday- Hot dogs, and smores
Wednesday- Happy Canada Day! Hamburgers, Salad,Oreo strawberry shortcake
Thursday-Breakfast for dinner- eggs, tomato, toast
Friday- Barbeque Chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots
Saturday-HAPPY 4TH! 4th of July Clam chowder, Frosty Fireworks, Vanilla ice cream with strawberries
Sunday-leftovers
We are here in Canada and celebrate both Canada Day and Roo’s homeland the USA and its holiday- call it the best of both worlds. Now I am off to Laura’s to see what is cooking elsewhere this week.

It all looks good. Enjoy both your holidays.
Nicee.. hope you will have a nice holiday.
