On Canada Day my daughter and I were part of a very sweet tour with Tasty Tours in Kensington Market. We tasted so many Canadian sweets. What is yours?

Did you know?

Did you know that Kensignton Market was originally a Jewish market? Now a very multicultural market of mom and pop’s shops.

Now onto the sweets are really I want to know what is your favorite Canadian sweet.

Maple Anyone?

We had also tasted Maple syrup, had middle eastern treats at Akram’s Shoppe, tried egg tarts at the Ding Dong bakery and ended our day at the Burger Bar where we had the best poutine that was a special sweet creation for Canada Day. So do tell, what is your favorite Canadian sweet?

  1. I love markets like that – where is Kensington? I wonder if your Cora's is the same as the Cora we have around here (in Vancouver).
