How to Save More on Groceries: Feb 5-11

This is the fourth week I am showing you my readers how I save on groceries that week. Literally I am showing you my battle plan.

If you go back and read my first post you will see I use menu planning, great food choices, technology and a list to help me save.

My breakfasts as always remain the same:

1. Scrambled eggs with some veggies tossed in, 1 slice of wholewheat toast

2. steel cut oats with some fruit and maple syrup

3. greek yogurt with granola and fruit


Monday: leftover Chili from Superbowl Sunday

Tuesday: tuna salad served with cucumbers and lettuce

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Enchilada Soup leftovers

Thursday: will be eating out as I am at the Canadian Auto Show

Friday: tuna salad served with cucumbers and lettuce

Saturday: leftover Merguez and Lentil Soup

Sunday: eating out after my church

For Dinner:

Monday:  Mac N Cheese, salad

Tuesday: Slow Cooker Enchilada Soup

Wednesday: Beef and Butternut Squash Stew

Thursday: leftovers from the stew

Friday: Merguez and Lentil Soup

Saturday: Healthy Pizza from the Fixate Cookbook

Sunday: eating out at Boston Pizza for Valentine’s Day
