My Nova Scotia Holiday for #WordlessWednesday

I left in the middle of an ice storm that left hundreds of thousands without power here in Toronto.

Got to Nova Scotia Christmas eve after quite the adventure. This is the tree just before we went to bed.

Then it was time for Christmas morning. Everyone loved what they received, and at the end of the day there was even birthday cake for me.

Then our trip was filled with time with my mom, time with my sister the wonderful hair stylist, and exploring Halifax. We also celebrated 3 birthdays mine, my daughter turned sweet 16 and my nieces birthday.

Really it was great to spend a couple of weeks with family over the holidays but it is sure nice to be home as well.

  1. I'm hoping to make it to Nova Scotia next summer! Time flies — I can't believe the ice storm was six months ago.
