Watching Netflix this Earth Day

Today is Earth Day, and every year I have written about the topic as how we take care of this Earth is so important for us to be sustainable. Last year I gave simple tips on how you could save and help out the earth, and my very first post on Earth Day was way back in 2007.

This year with it being an extra long weekend right before Earth Day, we watched some movies and documentaries on Netflix (all part of their offerings for Earth Month). As spring is in the air here it definitely is a great time to think about how and why we do certain things and how it effects us. As a mom I feel it is so important to not only think about these things but have conversations with my daughter about the earth and our treatment and care of it.

Netflix has given us some great conversation started with a great array of Documentaries and kids shows on the topic, and for me as I try and get healthier the ones on green eating have been more then eye opening.

  1. Will have to check some of these out on Netflix when I have some time, thanks for sharing about them.

  2. I haven't had such conversations but I agree that it's important to start early with increasing their awareness of their environmental footprint.
