The HP Envy 7640 e-All-in-One Printer that Will #NeverRunOut of Ink and Giveaway

My last 3 printers have all been HP printers. I think I rather like them, so was excited to take the new HP Envy 7640 e-All-in-One and the new #InstantInk program for a test drive. It arrived this week, just in time for the busy holiday season. Between running a business and a teen that loves craft projects and homemade gifts we will definitely be putting this printer to the test.

HP Envy 7640 e all in one

Life will definitely be easier over the next couple of months using this new all in one printer. Some of the things I am liking all ready:

  • I can scan, print, photocopy, and fax all with one machine. As a small business owner that has huge advantages all ready.
  • It was super easy to set up and since you can set up over wifi I didn’t even need help to get the job done.
  • I can print from any device in the house: computer, tablet, iPad, phone this printer can handle jobs from anywhere.
  •  Love that the HP Printables app is built right in the printer which makes DIY and craft projects so much easier.
  • With the holidays around the corner I can think of several uses.
  • With the HP Instant Ink subscription I never have to run out of ink.

Now what is our very first printable project going to be? Well my teen loves everything Harry Potter, so we found this great printable project that originated  at  Over the Big Moon. My teen loves Professor Snapes and making apothecary bottles for our mantle for Halloween seemed like the perfect place start. So our very first print with the new printer in our house goes to the teen who printed the labels for the bottles with ease. If you would like make some great potion bottles for your next Halloween project make sure you check out Pam’s blog.

The beautiful thing about an HP Instant Ink subscription is that I never run out to the store to buy more ink, so I can work on project after project. The instant ink program is designed with busy families in mind, HP Instant Ink gives you cost savings and convenience, so your family can focus on printing the important things and spending time together. HP Instant Ink saves you up to 50% off the cost of HP Original Ink while ensuring you never run out of ink when printing what matters most. Your printer will let HP know when it’s low on ink and the new cartridges will be delivered to your door before you run out so you never have to pick up ink again at the last minute! Monthly plans are based on the number of pages printed, not the amount of ink used. Ink, shipping and ink cartridge recycling are all included in the price. HP provides pre-paid envelopes to return used cartridges and HP Planet Partners recycles them as part of your service. Plans start at $3.99/month for occasional printing (50 pages per month) and go up to $10.99/month for frequent printing (300 pages per month).  As a small business owner and busy mom this is a win for me.

  1. I make cards and do scrapbooking so love to print out lots of goodies for those. I also have a home office so do lots of daily printing, not as much fun, but I plan to clean up my filing cabinet and add some flare to my folders.

  2. I print off an abundance of worksheets for my little one to do. With a lifetime of school ahead of us, I think that's what most of our future printing will look like.

  3. I am really getting into the planner world so I'd love to try and print my own pages and stickers maybe even. I'd also love to make our own Christmas cards and gift tags.

  4. The printing projects I have ahead are a few. Most importantly are job applications as I am returning to the workforce after an extended 6 year maternity leave. I have lots of resumes, cover letters and references to print off. Secondly, is photos for scrapbooking all our memories. I plan to design and print our own family Christmas card and letter this year. Lastly is printables for my daughter to color and do activities. I have found adult coloring sheets on Pinterest that are a great creative outlet for all ages.

  5. I have to print alot of not so exciting stuff. Med lists, and parts of manuals. I have my eye on some Disney printables for my niece and nephew to colour. That's about it upcoming.

  6. I really want to make a recipe book. I've been collecting our favourites I just need to layout the pages, print and bind them. I could get it printed somewhere, but this is one i'd really like to try to do myself!
