Dutch Bros Secret coffee menu items
Secret menus are usually only available at the local Dutch Bros, but some locations may have them listed on their website. What is a secret menu, you may ask? If you’ve never been to a Dutch Bros before, you may not know that they have a secret menu.
Secret menus are typically a way for a company to test out new products or to surprise customers with new items. Many times, you can get these items easily, but they are just not being advertised as part of the regular menu. If you want one of these secret menu items, make sure to ask for it the next time you visit a Dutch Bros location.
Don’t hesitate to ask for the Dutch Bros secret menu. Many of the employees know how to make their secret drinks. You won’t get any strange looks if you order something like the Ba Nay Nay!
In addition, each kiosk has its own drinks based on their geographical location. So, it’s a good idea to ask what secret drinks are popular in that specific location.
Coffee lovers can order these secret coffee items hot or cold. We recommend ordering them cold, as they’re much more savory than the hot versions. Check our some of these secret items at the Dutch Bros coffee shop if you want to switch up your caffeine boost.
Maybe you’re into Dutch classics such as their Nitro Cold Brew, Private Reserve, and Americano, or something more chocolaty like a nice Dutch Cocoa and Cocomo Mocha. Other typical Dutch Bros order include an Iced Double Torture, a Dutch Freeze drink, an Annihilator, and the Dutch Bros Rebel Energy Drink. Whatever your preferences are, you’re sure to find a secret menu item here that’ll fit your tastes. So, let’s get right to it!
Ba Nay Nay
Possibly my favorite secret menu item, the Ba Nay Nay is a mocha made with dark chocolate and bananas, topped with a mountain of whipped cream.
Banana Bread
Banana bread lovers rejoice, there’s a drink made especially for you. Ask a Dutch Bros employee for a “Banana Bread” drink and you’ll be served a creamy blend of hazelnut and creme de banana syrup. The reason why this drink is so creamy is because it’s made of half and half cream rather than milk.
Bob Marley
This is probably the most well-known item from Dutch Bros secret menu. It’s made with dark chocolate and coconut, blended with one whole banana, and topped with whipped cream. And yes, the combination tastes out of this world. There’s a reason why this drink is such a fan favorite.
Candy Cane
The Candy Cane is a peppermint mocha topped with whipped cream, candy cane sprinkles, and dark chocolate drizzle. While it’s usually most popular during the winter holidays, it’s available for customers to order all year long.
Caramel Nog
Love egg nogs? Well, the already sweety taste of egg nog gets a super upgrade. The Caramel Nog is an eggnog latte made with buttery caramel.
You’ll be happy to know that, unlike eggnog, the Caramel Nog is available all year round!
Chai Nog
Not a fan of caramel? The Caramel Nog isn’t the only egg nog latte on Secret Bros secret menu. The Chai Nog is an eggnog latte with green tee.
Cookie
The cashier might just give you a cookie, so make sure you ask for a Cookie DRINK 🙂 But to be honest, it’s basically a cookie in liquid form. It’s made with half and half cream (rather than milk), with chocolate macadamia nut and white chocolate. You can ask to swap out chocolate chip if you prefer.

The Nutty Irishman
Half and half cream, Irish cream, and hazelnut is a combination to die for. You just have to try this one.
You can enjoy this drink iced or hot!
Picture Perfect
For some people (maybe me included) love the topped whipped cream and drizzle more than the drink itself 🙂 If that sounds like you, you can ask for “Picture Perfect” when you order any menu item and they’ll top your drink with whipped cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle.
The Pocahontas
A perfect blend of caramel, white chocolate, and dark chocolate. Ask for it to be made “Picture Perfect” and… Yummmm.
Pumpkin Pie Breve
A popular drink in October, it’s the closest thing you’ll get to drinking a pumpkin pie! This yummy drink on the Dutch Bros’ secret menu’s made with pumpkin and salted caramel, with a soft top, pumpkin drizzle, and raw sugar. Who wouldn’t be tempted by this luscious drink!

If you haven’t, you’re in luck because you get to experience drinking a Snickers bar for the first time (the best time is always the first time!). Made with dark chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. If you love eating Snickers, you might find yourself coming back again for this one.

Whip Stix are just straws with a mound of whipped cream on the end. Kids love it, and so do I <3
FAQ and secret tips
If you’re fairly new to Dutch Bros, here’s some cool tips and frequently asked questions about their items.
FAQ
What’s a breve?
A breve is a coffee drink that uses half and half (a mix of whole milk and cream) rather than milk. It tastes richer, creamier, and is just more delicious overall in my opinion.
What’s a rebel drink?
Rebel Drinks at Dutch Bros are energy drinks. They’re basically cold drinks that are mixed with Dutch Bros’ version of Red Bull energy drinks. I like to order Rebel drinks when I need some caffeine, but don’t particularly feel like drinking coffee. They can be ordered on ice, or as blended into a slushie.
What’s the difference between a Frost and a Freeze drink?
A Dutch Bros Frost is basically a milkshake. There’s no caffeine. A Dutch Bros Freeze is an espresso drink. Frosts and Freezes are both served as cold slushies. The only difference is caffeine.
Cool tips
You know how you could ask for “animal style” fries at In and Out but it’s not on the menu? Dutch Bros also has a few of these cool things you could ask for, but aren’t on the main menu. Only people who know to ask for them can get them.
Insider Tip #1: Ask for no caffeine in your rebel drink
Want to try a Rebel drink but don’t want the kick from the energy drink? Just ask for no caffein. Okay, so this one isn’t really a secret tip, but it’s something many people I’ve talked to don’t consider to do.
Insider Tip #2: Ask for “Picture Perfect”
Ask for “Picture Perfect” when you order any drink at Dutch Bros and they’ll top it with whipped cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle.
Insider Tip #3: Ask for “Make It Shine”
This is a tip for when you order Rebel Drinks. Ask for “Make It Shine” and they’ll add a really cool visual “shine” effect to your drink. I order it with “Make It Shine” every single time I order a Rebel Drink.
Insider Tip #4: Ask for “Old School”
This is just a fancy way of saying “add some vanilla please”. It’s just a fun way of speaking secret Dutch Bros code language with the staff 🙂
Insider Tip #5: Ask for “Pup-a-ccino”
This is a secret menu item for dogs offered by Dutch Bros. It’s a dog treat covered in whipped cream. Obviously, don’t give it to your dog every single day. But it’s a nice way to treat your dog when they tag along.
Insider Tip #6: Ask for “Whip Stix”
This is a secret menu item for kids offered by Dutch Bros. It’s basically a straw with a mound of whipped cream on the end. Kids love it, and it’s usually enough to keep them still and quiet for a few minutes. But after they’re done, the sugar rush will usually mean chaos. Just kidding. It’s a fun treat to get your kids when they tag along.
Conclusion
Dutch Bros’s secret menu has a ton of unique items that aren’t on the main menu.
Why are these menu items considered “secret”?
Some people wonder why these menu items are kept on a secret menu while others aren’t. While Dutch Bros has never confirmed the real reason why, my guess is that it’s because there are just so many drinks!
It can be impossible to choose when you have hundreds of different items on a menu. Therefore, it’s better to just leave some of the items for the die hard fans who want to try everything they offer.
And there you have it! These are all the secret menu items from Dutch Bros in 2023. Try them out, and enjoy!
